Smooth CDN – Effortless asset delivery for developers

Every plan uses the same platform

Every account includes the same optimization pipeline, CDN delivery, and core workflow. Paid plans do not unlock a different product - they simply increase the limits as your projects grow.

  • Same optimization pipeline
  • Same API
  • Same CLI
  • Same integrations
  • Same asset workflow

Choose the plan that matches your workflow stage

The table confirms the choice. The biggest difference between plans is how much room your projects, traffic and team workflow need.

Free

For learning, prototypes and personal projects.

Starter

For freelancers and small production websites.

How limits work

  • • Bandwidth and requests are counted per account
  • • Free plan limits reset one month after the first CDN request.
  • • Monthly plans reset every billing cycle.
  • • Yearly plans include the full yearly quota available immediately.
  • • Custom subdomains are available in paid plans only
  • • After downgrade to the Free plan, assets exceeding plan limits may remain available for up to 60 days before permanent removal.

Why both Guest and Free?

Guest is a special account type for testing dedicated plugins and custom integrations. Free is the regular self-serve plan for personal projects, experiments, and ongoing use.

Every plan follows the same workflow

You are not paying for a different product. You scale the same asset workflow as your projects and traffic grow.

What the limits mean

Limits exist so pricing scales with real usage: projects, delivered content, request volume, generated variants and retained history.

Image variants

Higher plans generate more optimized image variants for different devices and use cases.

Bandwidth

Bandwidth represents the amount of optimized content delivered through the CDN.

Requests

Each CDN asset request counts toward this limit.

Daily history

Higher plans retain optimization and usage history longer for troubleshooting and reporting.

When should I upgrade?

Upgrade when your workflow has grown - not because you need a different version of Smooth CDN.
